GoCPS allows families to explore and apply to nearly every CPS school and program through one online platform. Whether you are a current CPS family or new to the District, GoCPS is the gateway to finding the right school for you.

From April 8 to 12, CPS pre-K programs across the city are hosting open houses and special activities for pre-K students and their families. Contact your neighborhood CPS elementary school to explore the high-quality program options, get a feel for the school’s culture, meet the staff, and get help completing your child’s Chicago Early Learning pre-K application. - OCTOBER 24th - 25th - HSAT Re-test for CPS Students
- OCTOBER 28th - 29th, NOVEMBER 5th- HSAT Exam for Non-CPS Students

- FEBRUARY 23rd, 2024 - Results Released
- FEBRUARY 28th, 2024 - SEHS Principal Discretion Process Opens
